• • Release Manager will need to design and implement the solution for moving development code to UAT, pre-production and then production using a toolset. He/she will need to define this toolset, using existing DB release and/or deployment services or create the mechanism by which this will occur.
• Release Manager will liase with Configuration Managers to ensure UAT, pre-production and production are locked down to ensure developer access is restricted and no changes can be made except for emergency fixes.
• Release Manager will also need to develop or implement comparisons between Unix, Oracle and Informatica to ensure no code has been applied that should not be there.
Требования
• Extensive experience of CVS and other release management and source control systems, understanding of branching, etc;
• Experience of documenting the release procedures and ensuring they are followed by the development team;
• Technical background in Unix, Oracle and Informatica
